JOB SUMMARY:
Vertex is a team-based, collaborative organization looking for an energetic Corporate Marketing Manager to join our growing team.

The Corporate Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing on global/U.S. brand activities, supporting Sales Enablement, as well as product naming and messaging work. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute on corporate marketing plan, of including:
  • Developing project plans for each body of work
  • Writing/editing content 
  • Managing day-to-day relationship with brand agency
  • Managing and executing sales enablement projects
  • Working with vendors to support projects.
  • Managing print advertising 
  • Working with event team around branding and event support
  • Leading development of collateral 
  • Supporting sales enablement work flow/vendor management 
  • Measuring results and report on metrics 
  • Performing Budget management
  • Program/project measurement
  • Developing timelines and key milestones
  • Leading internal approval process
  • Developing strong stakeholder relationships and able to collaboratively with team members.
  • Develop understanding of all product/services and keep abreast of industry trends/competition.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • N/A

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have experience managing an agency relationship and with vendor management
  • Excellent writing skills - the ability to write clean, concise, polished copy concise, polished copy
  • Experience working with all marketing channels (email, social media, website, advertising, tradeshows, webcasts, etc.)
  • Ability to learn/understand core product functionality and market needs. 
  • Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Solid project management experience.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail both for editing copy and consistency in style and tone.
  • Ability to write clean, concise, polished copy.
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for quality work. 
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
  • College degree (4 yr.) in marketing, communications, business or similar major.
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably B-to-B.
  • Expertise required with the following Microsoft applications required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to work with Photoshop or CRM a plus.
